Meet the friendly staff at Inglewood Veterinary Clinic in Caledon !
Dr. Brar joined Inglewood Veterinary Clinic as an associate veterinarian in August 2022. He did his bachelor’s veterinary degree in year 2015 from India. After passing licensing examinations and getting a Certificate of Qualification as Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) designation, he started practicing at a 24 hr vet clinic in Hamilton area. He has a strong passion for internal medicine, ultrsonography & surgery. He has a small family & enjoys spending extra time in cycling, water sports & gym.
She graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Seneca College in 2007. Alissa, came to join the Inglewood Veterinary Clinic in November 2017. Some of her favourite tasks at the hospital are running anesthesia and spoiling the animals with treats!! Outside of work Alissa loves spending time with her family, going to the cottage, boating, wakeboarding and horseback riding. She shares her home with her sons Lincoln and Alistair, Louie the Puggle, Tilly the Goldendoodle, Paris the horse, and her cat Tifa.
Min obtained her veterinary technician diploma at Georgian College in 2018 and has since then worked in various types clinics, from ERs to general practices. She moved to Canada from Taiwan about 7 years ago with a background of DVM degree. Working with fur friends has always been her passion thanks to her childhood friends- 5 chihuahuas and 4 fluffy cats in the family. Currently she’s working on transferring her credentials from overseas to become a licensed veterinarian in Canada.
Outside of work, Min enjoys camping, playing board games and her two new hobbies- snowmobiling and watching hockey! She also spends time with her adoptive daughter, a fluffy cat nicknamed Hippo, whenever cuddles are needed, which appears to be most of the time.
Samantha graduated from the Animal Care program at Sheridan College in 2012. Ever since she was a little girl, she always wanted to be around animals. She always knew that she would be doing something that would have to do with helping animals when she got older. Sam grew up around cats and dogs and her family would always say that she is an “animal whisperer”. After about 3 years of working in the rescue industry at the beginning, she decided to pursue her dream in working in the medical field of the industry and has loved it ever since. Sam likes to spend her free time with her friends, family, her dog Gus and her two cats Haven and Georgie.
Sarah graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Sheridan college in Spring 2023 and she is working towards becoming an RVT. She also has a bachelors degree in biology from Lakehead University. Some of her favourite things to do around the clinic are puppy and kitten appointments as well as dental cleanings. Sarah spends her free time with her friends, family and her horse Frankie.
Sophia is our vegan big doggy lover! She joined our team in February 2020. You can find her at reception, assisting the doctors with appointments or giving your pets lots of love! She has over 10 years of animal care experience caring for dogs, cats and small animals with a special interest in caring for senior and special needs pets. When she's not at the clinic she is studying childhood development and psychology or hanging out with her fur children: Moose the Malamute and Sophie & Kramer the cats.
Sarah came to IVC in December 2021 with a diverse animal care background, looking after anything from dogs to reptiles at kennels, university collections, and a zoo. She has a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology from the University of Guelph. At the clinic, Sarah loves helping patients feel comfortable during their appointments. Her hobbies include art, video games, and taking her foxhound Boomer for long walks.
